Investment Criteria

What we look for, and what we do not.

We would rather be candid now than waste an owner’s time later. If your company sounds like the profile below, we would like to hear from you.

Company profile

Criteria · 1 of 4

Ownership
Founder, family, or management-owned, often approaching a retirement or succession decision.
Operating history
Typically ten years or more, with customer relationships that have endured market cycles.
Market position
A defensible niche supported by capabilities, certifications, route density, or a trusted reputation.
People
A capable team beneath the owner, or a clear path to build one with the right support.

Financial profile

Criteria · 2 of 4

Profitability
A consistent history of earnings and cash flow, not one unusually strong year.
Size
Lower middle market. We stay flexible because a strong company rarely fits every screen perfectly.
Revenue quality
Repeat customers, recurring service work, or long-run programs are preferred.
Capital needs
We are comfortable with equipment-heavy businesses and plan for continued investment.

Transaction fit

Criteria · 4 of 4

01

Situations we pursue

Full or majority acquisitions, management buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth investments where the parties share a clear long-term plan.

02

How capital works

We form a dedicated acquisition vehicle for each transaction. The investor group, governance, and capital plan are matched to that company rather than drawn from a blind-pool fund.
